Working for Club without player from my country....

Whenever I introduce myself as working for MCFC, every people asked me back,

'Do they have Korean player there? Or any chance?'

Unfortunately, for the time being MCFC doesn't have one and I cannot confirm about next season, even we haven't finished this season yet! (And BLUE BUS haven't arrived Manchester yet as well!)

As aspect of marketing and web traffic, obviously it's way better to have player from my country. I don't need to translate and I can issue out contents directly after match. Media in Korea will be more interested in MCFC as they did for Swansea, QPR, even now they are expert at WATFORD which is not in the Premier level yet.

Hence people easily consider I’d like to have one which is actually not.

I don’t have anyone at the moment, thus I don’t need to rely on specific player that other club having Korean player did so far.

If I have one, I couldn’t have chance to record New Year’s Greeting with James Milner, Micah Richards and my fav Stevan Jovetic. Or it wouldn’t be source of news that post of March 1^st.

Instead it will be really hard to attract media through contents because they will just find appearance of Korean player not contents itself. I don't want make this site as channel for Korean player in this team. 

They are enjoying MCFC Korean cause they didn’t expect MCFC, it’s kind of pleasure from unexpected one.

I do take pride on my work so far, not perfect though but try to BE CREATIVE, FUNNY as long as possible, since it’s football not a lecture nor nightline news. People watches football for fun, have rest, enjoy the time itself, and my reader will be far from the spot of match. They will watch match in very early morning, staying overnight and yarning in the office.

I wish I could give as much as I can to fan based in Korea, as I fully understand how they feel about the club, and reckon it would be same as my feeling toward my club. 

London

It's been almost few months to come down London.


I've enjoyed London so far, had representation at KCCUK about 'Life in UK as YMS visa holder', mainly on my career. After that I even got questions from other holders. It's quite meaningful as I accomplished something in here. Frankly I didn't see something like this would happen in this moment since I haven't thought I achieved some glorious results whilst living in here.

I am sure I tried all my best in every single minutes, so no regrets on past and I wish I could achieve my last dream very soon. 

Apart from presentation, there was few more reason to come down London.

I still remember the time when I got final confirmation of my offer from IFE, in front of Sunflower in Amsterdam. Whenever I got exhausted living in here, I took train to London and came room #45 to see Sunflower.

There are lots of version of Sunflower, I saw Amsterdam version on last November. London one was painted in 1888, 100 year before my birth. I know it's too much to put this value on <Sunflower>. 

I got motivated whenever facing tone of chrome yellow and this time as well. 

Matisse was not impressive as I expected, but was well curated particularly categorizing order.

One exhibition I really enjoyed was in Saatchi.
In my uni, I took class handling on 'Visual Art' and hugely emphasize yBa and British contemporary art such as Damien Hurst, Tracey Emin, Banksy, etc,.

There was exhibition of collaboration of young artist from America both south and north. (Title of exhibition was Pangaea!). And one room was full of big huge ants I screamed so badly. I know it's not very proper in gallery but imagine when you facing something not expected especially full of big huge giant ANTS!!!!!!!

Not only wall, all around the gallery room covered by ants it made mutation of ants probably can be seen in SF movie. (or it reminds me music video of MGMT 's KIDS) 

I read articles that Charles Saatchi is selling majorities and one room was full of sales goods such as Damien Hurst, Damien Hurst, Damien Hurst....(Okay, I only remember his name cause he is something to me)

But picture on above is not his work, I took it because of Jean Michel Basquiat, who inspires me to flame my passion on my work, makes me more driven to my vocations. 

Now I'm waiting train back to Manchester where I belong to (on this time), but next time I wish I could have chance to live in here, full of inspiring objects.

I want to learn, see, experience more in this huge vast city. I'll leave my heart here and hopefully can take it back very soon. 


(+) Last time when I came back from London, City staff party was looking for me. This time I can see latent two bus. One blocked Reds, and the other......will take us to party! C'mon City!

the things makes me sad

It has been more than one week of ferry accident. Those below list is about the thing I observed to 'remember' how this human terror was full of absurdities.

1. Nothing is clear and every news has been messed up with distorted political opinions. Every twitterians became expert of diving, posting 'why we could reach to missing people (but we didn't) vs 'why we could not reach to missing people (but we did our best). 

2. Giving us malfunction of media

- The first of news on this catastrophe was 'all rescued' which was not true and it turned out reversed result in the end, 'all did not rescued (some were escaped though). 

- In news some fake expert had interview regarding on accident and blaming incapacity of government and pretending she was struggling to give aid, however, government didn't approve it.

- In news show, anchor man asked rescued student 'so, do you know your classmate dead?'

- News reporter asked source of accident to current student via twitter, which is open public. 


3. Few days ago, son of Hyundai car owner posted on his facebook 'how humble public dare to president.'

The point is he described ordinary people as Barbarian, insUlting not only families also whole society itself. Actually he is similar age to missing student.

4. Blue house denied as functioning as control tower, and there were same number of control center as number of ministries. No central axis on spot, hence no system of commander. 

5. Ordinary individuals sent big aid even bigger than government's subsidy. This accident shows how Korean society crushed and there's no system exists. 


I cannot summarize it as one article as it is mixture of downside of Korean society.
It has been related to various layers of interest organizations, hence unravel one by one not cut off whole ties.

I got taught to take pride in my country, which achieved soaring economy, member of OECD, world best efficiency....etc,.

However on 16th of April, we forced to observe sinking ferry, seeing passenger in a dying. Since this catastrophe, we, as Korean, will have trauma of being useless, and get obsession to survive by themselves, not rely on any organization or aid from the others.

Thick Natural Makeup

When I explain the characteristic of Korean society, I said "Thick Natural Makeup" which connotes the fact and truth.

From outside of Korean society, it looks good and rational however inside, people can easily find full of absurdity.

It looks working well, efficiently through watching drastic development within half-century. and nation's people are so proud of the fact 'A country from nothing became something'
. Yes it's the fact WE have big companies with high technologies.
but via this disaster we are clearly observing the truth underneath still nothing. Not organized system, nor at least System itself.

Well covered truth always ends up disaster victimizing ordinary people's life.

Battleship Cheon- an, Gyeong-ju Resort, Sampoong, Daegu Subway, Bridge Sungsu, Sealand, and so more?

There's no society, no nation, no organization in Korea. The individuals hold all burdens of everything by themselves.

Support from individuals, voluntary divers, aids from ordinary people is the only column within this society.

Media tries to make it as 'show', more tears, shouting and sorrow as SHOW, reverse what about government? I don't know. I can read Korean, speak Korean but I cannot see anything from them.

Why we do not expect social safety web? Why we have to learn from catastrophe every time?

More frustrating 'fact' is Government does not know how many people was missing.

Recent state of Marie

1. Marie lost her phone, precisely she got snatched whilst working along street. Idiot sneakily followed up her and pushed her in sudden and took her phone on her hand.

She got shocked but she said "at least he didn't smashed over my head and didn't happened some really bad thing, such as rape, robbery (it's kinda robbery though but still have ID) and even talked to police about football esp, Football Genius MOYES. 

She talked to her colleague Joyce that "as we said shortly, we did something new in this week, such as visiting police in England."
It was nadir moment in her life as it was her 4th time to get stolen her phone in Manchester, but she was quite interested in procedure of making statement. 

She was clearly memorizing many details of attacker, eg. Outfit, Face, details of shoes and accessories!

She was escorted by police to Northern Quarter, and grabbed wine with her lovely International team colleagues, enjoyed time even she was not 'ONLINE'.

She suffered during weekend since she couldn't get in her instagram, twitter, line, we-chat, and even text message was not available!

She enjoyed dinner at her colleagues flat, which is just one floor under her one. Her Japanese, Chinese, French colleague gave her warm comforting to her, who shivered slightly.
  

2.조서 쓰는 거 따라하는데 이렇게 농담처럼 말하지만 아직 좀 무섭다. 

3. 어찌저찌해서 기사가 나갔는데 와 뭐 별것도 아닌 얘기에 무슨 이렇게 악플이 많대...? 연예인들은 어떻게 사나 정말 강심장이네.

4. 거의 반년만에 오빠랑 얘기를 했다. 물론 지금 정말 눈물의 상봉도 아니고 오빠는 일본으로 떠나게 돼서 급하게 회사에서 부랴부랴 문장 뽑아 정리하고 발음기호도 아니고 정말 한국어로 하나하나 발음 달아서 보냈다. 앞으로 매일 이 시간에 문장 세 개씩 보내기로 했다. 

세월이 불쑥 지나고 나서 이제 같이 늙어가는 처지라는 말이 어색하지 않은 나이가 되고 나니 그간의 노력이 얼마나 힘들었을까 하는 생각이 든다. 

스물 세살, 그니까 지금 나보다도 두 살 어린(영국나이와 한국나이로 사기치고 있다...) 나이였다는 걸 생각하면 당시 어설픈 모습이 당연하게 느껴진다.

한참 못보다가 불쑥 나타나 말을 걸었는데도 어색함이 없는 걸 보니 그래도 세월과 추억이란게 꽤 힘이 있구나 새삼 깨닫게 된다.

5. 이번주에는 금요일부터 적어도 사흘은 쉴 수 있다. 지금 고민이 해결된 것도 아니고 사실 그 얘기를 한 번 써볼까 하고 블로그 글을 끄적인건데 아무래도 그 일이 해결되고 나서 해야겠다.
